rekordbox combines library management, Export mode, and live Performance mode. It is especially relevant when a beginner expects to prepare USB media or use supported equipment within the AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ ecosystem.

VirtualDJ: Broad Flexibility with Licensing Conditions#

Tracks can be analyzed and arranged, after which transition lengths, EQ, volume, filters, effects, edits, and stems can be reviewed and adjusted where those features are available. Suggested ordering should be treated as a starting point that still requires listening and editorial judgment.

The purpose is comparison, not automatic correction. A generated or suggested arrangement still requires human listening.

Day 6: Refine and Export a Practice Mix#

Adjust the weakest transitions identified during the live session. Review volume, EQ, filters, transition duration, edits, and stems only where they support a specific musical decision.

Export an audio version if the current plan and source files permit it. Use video or DJ-set export only when the selected license and destination support the required format.

An exported file is not automatically cleared for public distribution. Publishing rights, platform rules, and permissions for the music remain separate from the software’s technical export capability.

Day 7: Compare the Two Workflows#

Compare the live attempt with the timeline version. Identify which improvements came from better preparation and which depend on live skills that still require practice.
